How to quote channel letters
Storefront wants 12-inch channel letters — eight of them — plus install. You pick the factory Channel letters template, enter height and count, tick install if you charge it, and send a share link before they hang up. After your street prices are in the template, this should take under a minute.
On this call
- New quote. Type the customer name or pick them from the list.
- Choose the Channel letters template (letter height band — factory seed, then your numbers).
- Enter 12 in height and 8 letters. Set quantity to 1.
- Tick lighting or install only if that is in the price you say out loud.
- Send: copy the share link or email it. They Accept on their phone. You see Viewed on the quote.
What the template is doing
Channel letters is a letter calculator: height picks the band, count is how many letters you charge for, plus flat add-ons. You are not writing a formula. You change the dollar amounts in Pricing so the bands match what you already charge.
Load the eight factory templates on day one. Tune Channel letters to your letter and install street prices once. The next storefront quote is height and count, not rebuilding a spreadsheet.
After they say yes
Convert to Job. Print a work order with no unit prices for the floor. Install crew sees letter count and add-ons — not your margin.
That is the whole loop: quote on the call, Accept, Convert, shop paper. Not a job-board calendar.
